SSYF’s work in Ludlow over the 2016/17 period included the delivery of the fourth year of the Rockspring garden project. This project is a hit with both young people and the community alike. The development of the Rockspring Youth Forum was very limited this year but SSYF have secured funding to relaunch this group and young people are keen to make it a success.
After a gap the Detached sessions also started in May 2017. With support from Wesley’s Church the cafe was made available for young people to drop-in. Volunteers from the Church have also volunteered on cafe sessions, which were open between September and April.
Weekly Detached sessions are being delivered throughout the Summer, with the cafe due to reopen in September 2018.
